{"id":13203,"date":"2013-05-24T16:04:10","date_gmt":"2013-05-24T16:04:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=e53669eb246182d5bb3bce2ef5da8de3"},"modified":"2013-05-24T16:04:10","modified_gmt":"2013-05-24T16:04:10","slug":"news-story-driving-examiner-strike-on-31-may-candidates-urged-to-attend-tests","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=13203","title":{"rendered":"News story: Driving examiner strike on 31 May: candidates urged to attend tests"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>Driving examiners who are members of the Public and Commercial Service union are planning to take strike action on Friday 31 May 2013.<\/p>\n<p>The Driving Standards Agency (<abbr title=\"Driving Standards Agency\">DSA<\/abbr>) is doing everything it can to make sure that tests go ahead as planned and urges all candidates to come for their test as usual.<\/p>\n<p>You won\u2019t have to contact <abbr title=\"Driving Standards Agency\">DSA<\/abbr> to rebook if you can\u2019t take your test because of the strike action. You should hear from the agency with a new date within 5 to 10 working days.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"out-of-pocket-expenses\">Out-of-pocket expenses<\/h2>\n<p>You can claim out-of-pocket expenses if your test is cancelled, but you must have turned up for your test to do this.
