{"id":15319,"date":"2013-06-09T14:58:30","date_gmt":"2013-06-09T14:58:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=e07e0aa5a48cac10527409b45e5a543f"},"modified":"2013-06-09T14:58:30","modified_gmt":"2013-06-09T14:58:30","slug":"news-story-current-vacancies-temporary-cover-for-ukti-dso","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=15319","title":{"rendered":"News story: Current Vacancies &#8211; Temporary cover for UKTI DSO"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<h3 id=\"main-duties\">Main Duties:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>To provide support to UKTI Defence &amp; Security Organisation in Algeria. <\/li>\n<li>To provide direct support to UK defence &amp; security companies both in Algeria and the UK.<\/li>\n<li>To be the focal point for Visa facilitations in support of UK defence and security contracts.<\/li>\n<li>Translator for official correspondence and occasional interpretation for visiting UKTI DSO officials.     <\/li>\n<li>To liaise directly with Algerian Ministries. <\/li>\n<li>To translate technical matters both form French and Arabic into English and vice versa.<\/li>\n<li>To occasionally attend high-level defence meetings with the 1st Secretary and senior UK government officials to act as an interpreter.<\/li>\n<li>To type official communications, deal with accounts, organise filing and stationery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 id=\"qualifications-and-skills\">Qualifications and Skills:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Fluent French and Arabic and a formal qualification in English.<\/li>\n<li>A proven ability to understand and translate technical defence matters both written and verbal.<\/li>\n<li>Computer skills including a good working knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word.<\/li>\n<li>3 Years minimum prior work experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 id=\"we-offer\">We Offer:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Good working environment.<\/li>\n<li>Working hours Sunday to Thursday 08:00 -15:30hrs (longer hours may occasionally be necessary but time off in lieu will be given or overtime paid).<\/li>\n<li>A monthly salary of 36, 507 DZD gross, income tax and social security contributions will be deducted directly from your monthly pay.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Applications (consisting of an application letter and a CV both in English) should be sent via email to: <a href=\"mailto:BritishEmbassy.Algiers@fco.gov.uk\">BritishEmbassy.Algiers@fco.gov.uk<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The closing date for applications is 16 June 2013.
