{"id":15450,"date":"2013-06-10T07:41:00","date_gmt":"2013-06-10T07:41:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=00e65895634de23f7c31cf9aa0be2385"},"modified":"2013-06-10T07:41:00","modified_gmt":"2013-06-10T07:41:00","slug":"news-story-dedicated-website-and-logo-to-mark-100th-anniversary-of-first-world-war","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=15450","title":{"rendered":"News story: Dedicated website and logo to mark 100th anniversary of First World War"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>The government has launched a <a href=\"\/government\/topical-events\/first-world-war-centenary\">dedicated website<\/a> and <a rel=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tools.culture.gov.uk\/ww1\/\">logo<\/a> for the four-year programme of remembrance marking the 100th anniversary of the First World War between 2014 and 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Latest news about the government plans for commemoration, including information of national events and activities from the cultural programme will feature on the website at <a href=\"\/government\/topical-events\/first-world-war-centenary\">www.gov.uk\/ww1centenary<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>Together with <a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.iwm.org.uk\">Imperial War Museums<\/a> (IWM), we are making available <a rel=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tools.culture.gov.uk\/ww1\/\">a special First World War centenary logo<\/a> for non-commercial use. Individuals, organisations, special interest groups, companies and charities will be able to use it to mark their own remembrance activities and anniversary events.<\/p>\n<p>IWM is also leading the <a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.1914.org\">First World War Centenary Partnership<\/a>, a growing network of over 1,000 local, regional, national and international non-for-profit groups and organisations that are commemorating the centenary.
