{"id":15467,"date":"2013-06-10T12:00:58","date_gmt":"2013-06-10T12:00:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=44c8ba46b77d0b5fb7a2778100646809"},"modified":"2013-06-10T12:00:58","modified_gmt":"2013-06-10T12:00:58","slug":"news-story-minister-opens-new-essex-chambers-of-commerce-office-in-thames-gateway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=15467","title":{"rendered":"News story: Minister opens new Essex Chambers of Commerce office in Thames Gateway"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>The new Chambers of Commerce office facility at the Thurrock Learning Campus of South Essex College was officially declared open for business today (10 June 2013), by Local Government Minister Brandon Lewis. <\/p>\n<p>Following the ceremony, the minister met a number of local business people accompanied by local MP Jackie Doyle-Price, Denise Rossiter, Essex Chambers\u2019 Chief Executive, and Robert Leng, Essex Chambers\u2019 President.<\/p>\n<p>Local Government Minister Brandon Lewis said: <\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Businesses are at the heart of the government\u2019s vision for the Thames Gateway which is why we are doing everything we can to give them greater freedoms, powers and incentives to strengthen the local economy, drive regeneration and encourage prosperity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"last-child\">The Essex Chambers of Commerce has played a vital role in supporting local businesses, providing a prominent voice for well over a century. Setting up shop here in Thurrock, the economic pulse of the Gateway, represents a huge opportunity for jobs and growth in Thurrock and beyond.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Essex Chambers\u2019 Chief Executive Denise Rossiter said: <\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Thurrock is on the doorstep of DP World\u2019s London Gateway Port development and the \u00a3150 million investment in Junction 30 of the M25 Dartford Crossing.
