During his tenure he has transformed the work of the Pensions Ombudsman delivering much higher output and improved customer service.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2 id=\"more-information\">More information:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The re-appointment of Tony King has been carried out in accordance with the Office of the Commissioner for Public Appointments (OCPA) code of practice.<\/li>\n<li>Tony King\u2019s current contract expires on 31 August 2013. His new contract will start from 1 September 2013. His remuneration will be \u00a3129,579 a year from the date of his reappointment.<\/li>\n<li>Tony King was first appointed as the Pensions Ombudsman in September 2007 for a period of three years and he was reappointed for a second three-year term in September 2010.
