It showed the importance of ensuring such cases were brought into the open, which was why the government was taking the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/news\/human-trafficking-tough-sentences-to-help-end-modern-slavery\">Modern Slavery Bill<\/a> through the House.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"co-op\">Co-op<\/h2>\n<p>Asked whether the Prime Minister thought HM Treasury had questions to answer over its involvement in Co-op Bank bidding for Lloyds branches, the <abbr title=\"Prime Minister's Spokesperson\">PMS<\/abbr> said the Co-op\u2019s bondholders and clients wanted to know why it got into financial difficulty \u2013 including questions around its leadership.
