In particular, it provides a new channel to communicate about:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>joint <abbr title=\"HM Revenue and Customs\">HMRC<\/abbr> and agent consultative meetings;<\/li>\n<li>the rollout of <abbr title=\"HM Revenue and Customs\">HMRC<\/abbr>\u2019s <a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.hmrc.gov.uk\/agents\/strategy\/overview.htm\">Tax Agent Strategy<\/a>;<\/li>\n<li>improvements to <abbr title=\"HM Revenue and Customs\">HMRC<\/abbr> services by working together;<\/li>\n<li>the services available for agents.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Theresa Middleton, Director Business Tax Customer and Strategy, said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"last-child\">Over the next couple of years <abbr title=\"HM Revenue and Customs\">HMRC<\/abbr> is introducing new digital services for customers and their agents. As part of this, there is a lot of joint working taking place. We involve and consult with agents and their representatives in many different ways.
