{"id":37774,"date":"2014-01-14T14:45:00","date_gmt":"2014-01-14T14:45:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=3da0b4b70d83396d3dd2941595f6908c"},"modified":"2014-01-14T14:45:00","modified_gmt":"2014-01-14T14:45:00","slug":"press-release-three-crewmen-rescued-after-vessel-blaze","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=37774","title":{"rendered":"Press release: Three crewmen rescued after vessel blaze"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>Three crewmen have been rescued off Lowestoft this afternoon after their vessel caught fire in the North Sea. <\/p>\n<p>Humber Coastguard coordinated the rescue operation after the crew abandoned the ECC Topaz 10 nautical miles east of the town.<\/p>\n<p>The vessel had been heading out to service a windfarm when the blaze struck just before 1pm. <\/p>\n<p>The crew, who were wearing lifejackets, managed to get into a liferaft while they waited to be rescued by the Search and Rescue helicopter from RAF Wattisham.<\/p>\n<p>The crew were winched to safety and airlifted to James Paget University Hospital at Great Yarmouth as a precaution.
