{"id":38047,"date":"2014-01-22T15:28:56","date_gmt":"2014-01-22T15:28:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=78d7625d29e7e3b6e417bda9dd333f58"},"modified":"2014-01-22T15:28:56","modified_gmt":"2014-01-22T15:28:56","slug":"news-story-mod-publishes-options-report-for-future-management-of-dalgety-bay","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=38047","title":{"rendered":"News story: MOD publishes options report for future management of Dalgety Bay"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>The <a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sepa.org.uk\/radioactive_substances\/publications\/idoc.ashx?docid=0c6973fc-6a5a-4929-b0f8-2fb2b83b66f0&amp;version=-1\">Outline Management Options Appraisal report<\/a> presents preliminary details of possible measures and activities for the management of radium contamination that has been identified at the bay. <\/p>\n<p>It aims to provide an indication of the potential nature and range of available measures and activities which could be implemented to enable the effective long-term management of the contamination.  <\/p>\n<p>The report highlights that the preferred option is likely to comprise a combination of each of the measures and activities presented. <\/p>\n<p>However, further work is required before a conclusion about the best possible course of action can be reached.
