{"id":38173,"date":"2014-01-27T09:41:00","date_gmt":"2014-01-27T09:41:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=f35e33f3557fc668bb6eecbfb999beea"},"modified":"2014-01-27T09:41:00","modified_gmt":"2014-01-27T09:41:00","slug":"news-story-grants-to-explore-innovative-ways-of-applying-regulators-code","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=38173","title":{"rendered":"News story: Grants to explore innovative ways of applying Regulators&#8217; Code"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>The Better Regulation Delivery Office is offering financial support to pathfinder projects to explore innovative ways of applying the Regulators\u2019 Code and encouraging collaboration between regulators and business. <\/p>\n<p>Projects are normally short-term, collaborative and experimental in nature, and the overall aim is to identify growth-supporting initiatives that are productive, sustainable, and suitable for wider roll-out.<\/p>\n<p>Provided under the Regulatory Innovation for Growth programme, grants will be awarded for projects that fit one of six categories:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022supporting business and economic growth<\/p>\n<p>\u2022engaging with the business community<\/p>\n<p>\u2022developing risk-based approaches to business support and interventions<\/p>\n<p>\u2022sharing information about compliance and risk<\/p>\n<p>\u2022providing information, guidance and advice<\/p>\n<p>\u2022promoting transparency in regulatory activities<\/p>\n<p>Organisations with a direct role in regulating businesses or supporting the development of good practice within the regulatory community are eligible to apply. <\/p>\n<p>BRDO will award up to \u00a3250,000 in a financial year, although individual grants will not normally exceed \u00a320,000.<br \/>\nFurther details and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/collections\/brdo-grants\">application form<\/a> for grants in 2014-2015 are available on this site, together with helpful resources.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants must submit their forms to BRDO at grants@brdo.bis.gsi.gov.uk by 17.00 on Thursday, 20 March 2014.
