{"id":44191,"date":"2014-06-25T15:23:27","date_gmt":"2014-06-25T15:23:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=98ee9db2bcc878e45d5a10e062381c0a"},"modified":"2014-06-25T15:23:27","modified_gmt":"2014-06-25T15:23:27","slug":"news-story-8-5-million-issued-for-green-deal-home-improvement-fund-in-first-two-weeks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=44191","title":{"rendered":"News story: \u00a38.5 million issued for Green Deal Home Improvement Fund in first two weeks"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>\u00a38.5 million has been issued for the new Green Deal Home Improvement Fund during the scheme\u2019s first two weeks, according to industry estimates.<\/p>\n<p>The figure represents a \u00a36 million surge from the first week, during which \u00a32.6 million was issued to households in England and Wales.<\/p>\n<p>A total 2821 applications have been made for the Green Deal Home Improvement Fund which offers households money back for making energy efficient home improvements from an approved list. <\/p>\n<p>Energy and Climate Change Secretary Ed Davey said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve changed the Green Deal to make it simpler and faster for people to make their homes more energy efficient \u2013 you could get up to \u00a37600 back, straight into your bank account.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want as many people as possible to benefit from this unmissable offer.
