{"id":44335,"date":"2014-06-27T15:59:21","date_gmt":"2014-06-27T15:59:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=efe8ad8c96accc0d404f7e173837dd92"},"modified":"2014-06-27T15:59:21","modified_gmt":"2014-06-27T15:59:21","slug":"news-story-culture-secretary-writes-a-letter-to-an-unknown-soldier","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=44335","title":{"rendered":"News story: Culture Secretary writes a Letter to an Unknown Soldier"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>Culture Secretary, Sajid Javid, along with more than 3,000 others, has written a <a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.1418now.org.uk\/letter\/sajid-javid\/\">Letter to an Unknown Soldier<\/a> as part of an arts project to commemorate the start of the First World War. <\/p>\n<p>The project, run by <a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.1418now.org.uk\/\">14-18 Now<\/a>, asks as many people as possible to send a personal message to one of the men who served and was killed during World War One.<\/p>\n<p>Schools and community groups, as well as individuals, have already written letters and their thoughts are part of an online exhibition.
