This is the first year these have been designated \u2018Official Statistics\u2019 . <\/p>\n<p>UK defence and security exports in 2013 totalled \u00a313 billion, comprising defence exports of \u00a39.8 billion and security exports of \u00a33.2 billion. The combined figure represents a 13% increase on the previous year.
