{"id":44990,"date":"2014-07-14T16:16:28","date_gmt":"2014-07-14T16:16:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=8ba3238bfecda90f290420550d8e36c0"},"modified":"2014-07-14T16:16:28","modified_gmt":"2014-07-14T16:16:28","slug":"news-story-application-deadline-approaching-for-national-clinical-excellence-awards-process-2014","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=44990","title":{"rendered":"News story: Application deadline approaching for National Clinical Excellence Awards Process 2014"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>The Advisory Committee on Clinical Excellence (<abbr title=\"Advisory Committee on Clinical Excellence\">ACCE<\/abbr>) opened the 2014 round of national Clinical Excellence Awards (<abbr title=\"Clinical Excellence Awards\">CEA<\/abbr>) this June and the deadline for applications is now just a month away, closing on 14 August, 2014.<\/p>\n<p>The <abbr title=\"Clinical Excellence Awards\">CEA<\/abbr> recognise and reward NHS consultants and academic <abbr title=\"General practitioners (family doctors)\">GPs<\/abbr> who perform \u2018over and above\u2019 the standard expected of their role. The <abbr title=\"Advisory Committee on Clinical Excellence\">ACCE<\/abbr> Awards gives awards for quality and excellence, acknowledging personal contributions. The number of new national awards in the 2014 round will remain at 300 for England.<\/p>\n<p>Applications requiring Public Health England (<abbr title=\"Public Health England\">PHE<\/abbr>) support are now being accepted by <abbr title=\"Public Health England\">PHE<\/abbr>, which must be submitted to <a href=\"mailto:CEA2014@phe.gov.uk\">CEA2014@phe.gov.uk<\/a> by 5pm on 25 July 2014.
