{"id":46498,"date":"2014-08-18T08:31:36","date_gmt":"2014-08-18T08:31:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=1b79dfd6a1f7a0565caae33571cb7840"},"modified":"2014-08-18T08:31:36","modified_gmt":"2014-08-18T08:31:36","slug":"news-story-help-the-agency-deliver-space-for-all-through-our-award-scheme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=46498","title":{"rendered":"News story: Help the Agency deliver \u2018Space for All\u2019 through our award scheme"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>Today sees the launch of the Space for All 2014 Community Award Scheme for grants up to \u00a35,000 to do just that.<\/p>\n<p>This competitive process offers small grants up to \u00a35,000 to groups looking to present the UK\u2019s space programme and stimulate the use of space in inspiration and learning.<\/p>\n<p>Applications should be received no later than 9am on the 20 October with decisions communicated to applicants the week commencing the 24 November.<\/p>\n<p>A panel led by the Agency will judge the applications with support from representatives of the UK space community.<\/p>\n<p>The judging criteria will include quality and practicality and size of the potential audience as well as the extent of alignment with the UK\u2019s civil space strategy.<\/p>\n<p>Preference will be given to projects that will reach an audience unaware of the UK\u2019s space programme and to education projects which support the work of the UK\u2019s space education programme office, ESERO-UK.<\/p>\n<p>This call will have a total budget of \u00a340,000 and will be the only call for the financial year 2014\/15.<\/p>\n<p>Previously funded projects include Spacefund\u2019s \u2018Kids in Space\u2019 primary school show, Peterborough Museum\u2019s \u2018Space: Fact and Fiction\u2019 exhibition, the Royal Observatory Edinburgh\u2019s \u2018Keeping Cool in Space\u2019 teacher cpd workshop, and the University of Edinburgh\u2019s\u2019 Astrobiology Summer Academy.<\/p>\n<p>More information about the scheme, including the application form and guidance notes, can be found under the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/apply-for-funding-academic-community-and-educational#space-for-all---community-funding-scheme\">Space for All funding section<\/a> of our website.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Do you share the Agency\u2019s goal to increase awareness of the UK\u2019s space programme and the role that space plays in everyday life?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":8,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[13],"tags":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/46498"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/8"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcomments&post=46498"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/46498\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=46498"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcategories&post=46498"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Ftags&post=46498"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
