{"id":46572,"date":"2014-08-19T09:13:00","date_gmt":"2014-08-19T09:13:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=3dba99ef3fd89689686b54583d215c3f"},"modified":"2014-08-19T09:13:00","modified_gmt":"2014-08-19T09:13:00","slug":"news-story-justine-greening-praises-british-humanitarian-workers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=46572","title":{"rendered":"News story: Justine Greening praises British humanitarian workers"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>On World Humanitarian Day, International Development Secretary Justine Greening said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBritish humanitarian workers are the difference between life and death in countless trouble spots across the world including Iraq, Gaza and South Sudan, and I am incredibly proud of the work they do, not least those who work for DFID.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWorld Humanitarian Day recognises aid workers of all nationalities who have chosen to put themselves in the most inhospitable places, often in extreme danger, to alleviate the suffering of millions affected by conflict, natural disasters and deadly diseases.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is our opportunity to thank them and to remember the ultimate sacrifice paid by the 79 humanitarian workers who have died in 2014 so far.
