{"id":47017,"date":"2014-09-02T12:18:13","date_gmt":"2014-09-02T12:18:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=c8a9aff6775671a42a9eb4aefc659638"},"modified":"2014-09-02T12:18:13","modified_gmt":"2014-09-02T12:18:13","slug":"news-story-counter-terrorism-and-security-contracting-opportunity-for-defence-suppliers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=47017","title":{"rendered":"News story: Counter Terrorism and Security contracting opportunity for defence suppliers"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>Following the successful pilot of a new commercial framework for research contracts known as <abbr title=\"Research Cloud\">R-Cloud<\/abbr> (Research Cloud), the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (<abbr title=\"Defence Science and Technology Laboratory\">Dstl<\/abbr>) is now seeking suppliers within the area of Counter Terrorism and Security (<abbr title=\"Counter terrorism and security\">CT&amp;S<\/abbr>).<\/p>\n<p>This is the second of nine capability areas to offer research opportunities through <abbr title=\"Research Cloud\">R-Cloud<\/abbr>, which provides easy-to-use, direct access to current and future research requirements. Further roll out, across <abbr title=\"Defence Science and Technology Laboratory\">Dstl<\/abbr>\u2019s other capability areas, is expected over the coming months. <\/p>\n<div class=\"call-to-action\">\n<p>Suppliers working in the area of Counter Terrorism and Security can apply to be part of <abbr title=\"Research Cloud\">R-Cloud<\/abbr> via the <a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.contracts.mod.uk\/\">Defence Contracts Online (<abbr title=\"Defence Contracts Online\">DCO<\/abbr>)<\/a> pre-qualification portal from 3 September until 1 October 2014 &#8211; see \u2018<abbr title=\"Research Cloud\">R-Cloud<\/abbr> Framework CT&amp;S\u2019 contract opportunity.
