It will follow up on a number of business opportunities identified in China\u2019s elderly care sector. <\/p>\n<p>The itinerary will maximise opportunities to meet potential customers and partners while allowing time to develop business relationships.<\/p>\n<p>The visit is also timed to coincide with the <a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.imapac.com\/business_conference\/retirement-living-world-china-2014\">4th Annual Retirement Living World China conference<\/a> in Shanghai which has offered a \u2018Satellite Partnership Seminar\u2019 to showcase UK mission participants at the event.<\/p>\n<div class=\"call-to-action\">\n<p><a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/fs24.formsite.com\/cbbc\/form205\/index.html\">Register<\/a> to attend the elderly care mission.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2 id=\"opportunities\">Opportunities<\/h2>\n<p>The opportunities in China include those from investors, property developers, operators and regional governments. Requirements in the care sector include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>design and development of elderly care facilities<\/li>\n<li>service operations<\/li>\n<li>training<\/li>\n<li>management<\/li>\n<li>digital health and care systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"background\">Background<\/h2>\n<p>Healthcare UK, UK Trade &amp; Investment (<abbr title=\"UK Trade &amp; Investment\">UKTI<\/abbr>) and the China-Britain Business Council (<abbr title=\"China Britain Business Council\">CBBC<\/abbr>) have been working to identify meaningful business opportunities for UK organisations in China\u2019s elderly care sector over the last 18 months. <\/p>\n<p>This follows on from the publication of <abbr title=\"China Britain Business Council\">CBBC<\/abbr>\u2019s research report on the sector <a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cbbc.org\/guide\/china_info_and_reports\/eldercarereport\">\u2018Enabling Business Opportunities for UK Companies in China\u2019s Elderly Care Markets\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"contact\">Contact<\/h2>\n<p>Please email <a href=\"mailto:enquiries@cbbc.org\">enquiries@cbbc.org<\/a> for more information on the mission.
