The fleet number is added to all V5C registration certificates (log books) of vehicles within that company\u2019s fleet.<\/p>\n<p>Benefits for fleet operators include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>receiving vehicle documents in bulk including V11 &amp; V85\/1 tax reminders and V5Cs<\/li>\n<li>bulk taxation at a Post Office<\/li>\n<li>access to a dedicated fleet operator support helpdesk<\/li>\n<li>quicker resolution of queries as <abbr title=\"Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency\">DVLA<\/abbr>  can identify the vehicles assigned to each fleet number<\/li>\n<li>access to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/dvla-fleet-vehicle-info#before-you-start\">View Vehicle Record (<abbr title=\"View Vehicle Record\">VVR<\/abbr>) enquiry service<\/a>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><abbr title=\"View Vehicle Record\">VVR<\/abbr> offers advantages such as having access to data for vehicles within your fleet 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and being able to see which vehicles are due to be taxed and MOT tested.<\/p>\n<p>You can also opt in or out of having a V5C issued.
