We are continuing to review the situation, however aren\u2019t able to say at this stage whether we will be able to open the fishery again before the end of the year.<\/p>\n<p>The closure was published <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/fishing-vessel-licence-variations\/variation-issued-thursday-25-september-2014\">on our website on Thursday 25 September<\/a> in a licence variation. A link to this was also sent via electronic means to fishing vessel licence holders and shared on the <abbr title=\"Marine Management Organisation\">MMO<\/abbr>\u2019s <a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.twitter.com\/The_MMO\">Twitter<\/a> and <a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/MarineManagementOrganisation\">Facebook<\/a> accounts.
