{"id":48511,"date":"2014-10-09T09:59:52","date_gmt":"2014-10-09T09:59:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=8a12fad9960146499506da94f98e9528"},"modified":"2014-10-09T09:59:52","modified_gmt":"2014-10-09T09:59:52","slug":"news-story-civilcrime-news-new-legal-aid-innovations-working-group","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=48511","title":{"rendered":"News story: Civil\/crime news: new legal aid innovations working group"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>A working group of legal aid practitioners is being set up to look at ideas for improving the operation of the legal aid system.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve agreed to help set up the Legal Aid Innovations Working Group following requests from a number of providers.<\/p>\n<p>The idea is to explore innovative ideas put forward by providers. <\/p>\n<p>There will be a special focus on suggestions that could improve provider profitability and\/or customer experience without adding extra costs to the public purse.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"next-steps\">Next steps<\/h3>\n<p>Please consider whether you would like to join the Legal Aid Innovations Working Group and think about possible innovations that could be considered.<\/p>\n<p>A date will be set for an initial meeting towards the end of October 2014 in London.
