{"id":48530,"date":"2014-10-09T16:02:16","date_gmt":"2014-10-09T16:02:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=3cbbd2f2e0c912435156add8d0f0fce6"},"modified":"2014-10-09T16:02:16","modified_gmt":"2014-10-09T16:02:16","slug":"news-story-medical-weighing-equipment-video-basic-introduction","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=48530","title":{"rendered":"News story: Medical weighing equipment video: Basic introduction"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>The National Measurement Office (<abbr title=\"National Measurement Office\">NMO<\/abbr>) has produced an introductory level video that covers the type of medical weighing equipment a Trading Standards Officer (<abbr title=\"Trading Standards Officer\">TSOs<\/abbr>) is most likely to come across during inspections; and to provide training and support for <abbr title=\"Trading Standards Officer\">TSOs<\/abbr> for their work on the national project on medical weighing.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=98kSwXUYyM4&amp;list=PLQgzYpkVcmIHPtJKPyJk5i8P-1a5B-R2N\">Watch the medical weighing equipment video<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Following the results of the requested projects published in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/weights-and-measures-inspections-section-70-annual-report-2012-to-2013\">section 70 report for 2012 to 2013<\/a>, the <a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.regulatorsdevelopment.info\/grip\/sites\/default\/files\/the-expert-panels-directory.pdf\">Expert Panel<\/a> have chosen a project for 2014 to 2015 based on medical weighing equipment. National projects have been organised to add value to inspectional work carried out by individual trading standards services as part of their local responsibility. This UK-wide work has focused on particular enforcement areas and has been nationally collated.
