{"id":49167,"date":"2014-10-23T13:52:14","date_gmt":"2014-10-23T13:52:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=bf1f51b78a703d9eb98d59670cba2e0f"},"modified":"2014-10-23T13:52:14","modified_gmt":"2014-10-23T13:52:14","slug":"news-story-final-care-act-guidance-published","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=49167","title":{"rendered":"News story: Final Care Act guidance published"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/consultations\/updating-our-care-and-support-system-draft-regulations-and-guidance\">government response<\/a> explains how the regulations and guidance, which come into effect from April 2015, have been revised as a result of the suggestions we received during the consultation. <\/p>\n<p>We have made changes that include clarifying the guidance on adult safeguarding and revising the eligibility criteria to focus on outcomes and better address social isolation. <\/p>\n<p>In addition to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/consultations\/updating-our-care-and-support-system-draft-regulations-and-guidance\">revised regulations<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/care-act-2014-statutory-guidance-for-implementation\">guidance for local authorities<\/a> there will be more materials to help those implementing the Care Act on <a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.local.gov.uk\/care-support-reform\">the Local Government Association\u2019s website.<\/a>.
