{"id":51086,"date":"2014-12-03T00:03:16","date_gmt":"2014-12-03T00:03:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=acb0c332997d96bd00402dcce40a684e"},"modified":"2014-12-03T00:03:16","modified_gmt":"2014-12-03T00:03:16","slug":"press-release-foreign-office-minister-visits-the-holy-see","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=51086","title":{"rendered":"Press release: Foreign Office Minister visits the Holy See"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>The visit will mark the centenary of the re-establishment of diplomatic relations between the United Kingdom and the Holy See. <\/p>\n<p>Baroness Anelay will attend the celebratory Mass at the Papal Basilica of St Paul\u2019s Outside the Walls, presided by the Cardinal Secretary of State, His Eminence Cardinal Pietro Parolin. <\/p>\n<p>During her visit, Baroness Anelay will hold talks with senior Vatican officials and others from the Holy See network discussing freedom of religion, the persecution of Christian minorities in the Middle East, modern slavery, and wider human rights and international development issues, including the post-2015 international development agenda, and global climate change negotiations.  <\/p>\n<p>Baroness Anelay said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>I am delighted to represent Her Majesty\u2019s Government on in this important anniversary.
