{"id":51392,"date":"2014-12-10T10:15:00","date_gmt":"2014-12-10T10:15:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=1500c95e69059401e671db25810190d0"},"modified":"2014-12-10T10:15:00","modified_gmt":"2014-12-10T10:15:00","slug":"press-release-faster-economic-growth-in-wales-than-every-other-part-of-uk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=51392","title":{"rendered":"Press release: Faster economic growth in Wales than every other part of UK"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>Welsh Secretary Stephen Crabb said they show that the Government\u2019s long-term economic plan is working for Wales.<\/p>\n<p>Statistics published by ONS show that between 2012 and 2013 Wales saw a 3.4% increase in GVA (Gross Value Added) per head, the fastest growth out of all the nations and regions of the UK.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2010, Wales\u2019 GVA per head has grown by 8.4%, the fastest growth out of all of the UK nations and regions after London.<\/p>\n<p>Figures published this week by Markit also show that Wales saw the strongest rise in business activity during November since July 2014.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"stephen-crabb-said\">Stephen Crabb said:<\/h3>\n<blockquote>\n<p>These figures are great news and show that our long term economic plan is working for Wales.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2010 we have lower unemployment, more jobs and now evidence of faster growth than almost any other part of the UK.<\/p>\n<p class=\"last-child\">We still have long way to catch up &#8211; but the plan we have put in place is Wales\u2019 best hope of building a stronger economy.
