I am confident that his broad economic expertise and labour market knowledge will assist the review body in its on-going and important work considering pay and conditions for teachers.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The appointment process was run in accordance with the code of practice issued by the Office of the Commissioner for Public Appointments (<abbr title=\"Office of the Commissioner for Public Appointments\">OCPA<\/abbr>). The appointee declared no political activity and holds no other public appointments.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"biography\">Biography<\/h2>\n<p>Kenneth Clark is based at the University of Manchester where he is Senior Lecturer in Economics and a member of the Economic and Social Research Council Centre on the Dynamics of Ethnicity. Between 2010 and 2013 he was Co-Head of Economics with responsibility for teaching and operations. He is also a research fellow at the Institute of Labour Studies, in Bonn.
