Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening UK-Japan relations in a broad range of areas, particularly economic cooperation and defence.<\/p>\n<p class=\"last-child\">The PM expressed support for further Japanese inward investment into the UK and both Prime Ministers agreed to press for more progress on the EU-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement, which could be worth \u00a35 billion a year to the UK economy.
