{"id":52368,"date":"2015-01-12T10:42:50","date_gmt":"2015-01-12T10:42:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=2c8a3780ab7e8b4ca891ba48587e8b8e"},"modified":"2015-01-12T10:42:50","modified_gmt":"2015-01-12T10:42:50","slug":"press-release-325000-for-m65-white-lines-and-studs-work","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=52368","title":{"rendered":"Press release: \u00a3325,000 for M65 white lines and studs work"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>The work will be taking place along sections of the motorway between junction 4 at Blackburn South and junction 10 at Padiham.<\/p>\n<p>Highways Agency project manager John Lyssejko said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"last-child\">This is routine repair, maintenance and improvement work and we will be doing all we can to ensure it is delivered with as little inconvenience to motorway users as possible.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The improvements include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>renewing or refreshing all carriageway lane and slip road white lines and all road studs between junction 7 at Rishton and junction 10 <\/li>\n<li>carrying out similar work between junction 4 and junction 7<\/li>\n<li>repairing slip road lighting at junction 8 at Accrington with a full lighting renewal scheme for the junction to follow<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The slip road lighting repairs should be completed by the end of next week with the rest of the work completed by the end of March.<\/p>\n<p>The work between junction 7 and junction 10 incorporates the motorway \u2018full switch off zone\u2019 where main carriageway lighting was switched off in March 2011 as part of a national Highways Agency initiative to contribute to cutting carbon emissions.   The carriageway and slip roads will benefit from thermoplastic embossed road marking.
