{"id":53352,"date":"2015-02-04T14:35:07","date_gmt":"2015-02-04T14:35:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=9360c6816afaaf4d2ada0d7273384f42"},"modified":"2015-02-04T14:35:07","modified_gmt":"2015-02-04T14:35:07","slug":"news-story-airports-commission-consultation-on-shortlisted-options-for-a-new-runway-has-closed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=53352","title":{"rendered":"News story: Airports Commission consultation on shortlisted options for a new runway has closed"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>The Airports Commission\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/consultations\/increasing-the-uks-long-term-aviation-capacity\">consultation on its assessment of 3 proposals for additional runway capacity in the south east<\/a> has now closed.<\/p>\n<p>During the 12 week consultation the Commission estimates that it has received over 50,000 responses, from a broad cross section of individuals and organisations.<\/p>\n<p>Full details of the consultation will be published in the summer of 2015, alongside the Commission\u2019s final report.<\/p>\n<p>Sir Howard Davies, chairman of the Commission said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"last-child\">I would like to thank everyone who submitted a response during the consultation process. We will now spend the next few months thoroughly analysing those responses, carrying out any further work which might be required, considering the evidence and making our decision.
