More than 100 responses were received from a wide range of stakeholders, from individuals and organisations, including Police and Crime Commissioners, Police and Crime Panels, police forces, charities, the public, local government, academics and professional bodies. The written evidence received by the Committee can now be viewed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/written-evidence-local-policing-leadership-ethics-and-accountability\">online<\/a>. An <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/local-policing-leadership-ethics-and-accountability-february-2015-update\">update note<\/a> on the progress of the inquiry has also been published.<\/p>\n<p>Lord Bew, Chairman of the Committee, will also be giving the Annual Newsam Memorial Lecture hosted by the <a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.college.police.uk\/en\/22347.htm\">College of Policing<\/a> at The Royal Society, 6-9 Carlton House Terrace, London SW1Y 5AG at 16.00pm today.
