{"id":54092,"date":"2015-02-19T14:17:58","date_gmt":"2015-02-19T14:17:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=a90539b8510935abf64cc60869f1bfdf"},"modified":"2015-02-19T14:17:58","modified_gmt":"2015-02-19T14:17:58","slug":"news-story-culture-secretary-sajid-javid-to-visit-china-next-month-to-bang-the-drum-for-britains-creative-industries","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=54092","title":{"rendered":"News story: Culture Secretary Sajid Javid to visit China next month to bang the drum for Britain&#8217;s Creative Industries"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>Sajid Javid is set to participate in the GREAT Festival of Creativity, which will take place from 2 to 4 March 2015. <\/p>\n<p>The festival will demonstrate the best of British creativity and the role it plays in creating a competitive advantage in today\u2019s world.<\/p>\n<p>The GREAT Festival of Creativity event will also support British businesses looking to secure opportunities and growth in China. <\/p>\n<p>More than 500 world leading British companies will use the festival to reach the Chinese and global business audiences to show how British creativity can help their businesses innovate and grow.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking ahead of the visit he said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201c2015 isn\u2019t just the year of the Sheep, it\u2019s also the first-ever UK\/China Year of Cultural Exchange.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOne of the highlights will be the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/news\/the-great-festival-of-creativity-will-promote-the-best-of-british-business\">GREAT Festival of Creativity<\/a>, and I\u2019ll be travelling to Shanghai with some of Britain\u2019s leading creative businesses to launch the festival and help build relationships with Chinese counterparts and potential customers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBritain\u2019s creative industries are known around the world and are already worth almost \u00a380 billion to our economy.
