{"id":54788,"date":"2015-03-05T14:00:00","date_gmt":"2015-03-05T14:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=20f5bdcb0a2936c21a14d7a16da1c465"},"modified":"2015-03-05T14:00:00","modified_gmt":"2015-03-05T14:00:00","slug":"press-release-press-briefing-morning-5-march-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=54788","title":{"rendered":"Press release: Press briefing: morning 5 March 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<h2 id=\"tv-debates\">TV debates<\/h2>\n<p>When asked about the TV debates, the Prime Minister\u2019s Official Spokesperson (<abbr title=\"Prime Minister's Official Spokesperson\">PMOS<\/abbr>) said the Prime Minister\u2019s Director of Communications had set out the Prime Minister\u2019s position in his letter to the broadcasters.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"letterone-north-sea-acquisition\">LetterOne North Sea acquisition<\/h2>\n<p>When asked about the proposed acquisition by LetterOne of North Sea oil and gas fields owned by RWE Dea, the <abbr title=\"Prime Minister's Official Spokesperson\">PMOS<\/abbr> said the Prime Minister entirely agreed with the approach set out by the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change in his letter to LetterOne, noting that the power residing with the Energy Secretary to issue notices under the licences to require changes of control, was a long standing one.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"civil-service-election-preparations\">Civil Service Election Preparations<\/h2>\n<p>When asked about the Cabinet Secretary\u2019s letter to SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon relating to Civil Service election preparations, the <abbr title=\"Prime Minister's Official Spokesperson\">PMOS<\/abbr> said the Prime Minister\u2019s views were set out in the letter.
