These updates give you essential information to help you complete actions on time and administer the key stages 1 and 2 tasks, tests and checks correctly.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"independent-schools-and-others-that-choose-to-take-part-in-the-national-curriculum-assessments\">Independent schools, and others that choose to take part in the national curriculum assessments<\/h2>\n<p>Independent schools and non-maintained special schools can opt to take part in the national curriculum tests.
