{"id":55459,"date":"2015-03-19T15:15:51","date_gmt":"2015-03-19T15:15:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=105227e003cc3210216b51b60d9e6ba5"},"modified":"2015-03-19T15:15:51","modified_gmt":"2015-03-19T15:15:51","slug":"press-release-almost-19000-people-in-wales-find-jobs-thanks-to-uk-governments-work-programme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=55459","title":{"rendered":"Press release: Almost 19,000 people in Wales find jobs thanks to UK Government&#8217;s Work Programme"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>Almost 19,000 people in Wales have escaped long term unemployment and found lasting work thanks to the UK government backed Work Programme.<\/p>\n<p>Launched in 2011, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/collections\/work-programme-statistics--2\">Work Programme<\/a> provides personalised support to people who have been out of work for at least nine months and face the most significant barriers to getting a job.<\/p>\n<p>New figures published today (19 March) show that 18,910 people in Wales have started a job thanks to the Work Programme. <\/p>\n<h3 id=\"wales-office-minister-alun-cairns-said\">Wales Office Minister Alun Cairns said:<\/h3>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The Work Programme is transforming the lives of those who find it hardest to secure work.
