{"id":55708,"date":"2015-03-24T11:04:04","date_gmt":"2015-03-24T11:04:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=78cc24a70ba30e2ee1778d4ad4e1dac2"},"modified":"2015-03-24T11:04:04","modified_gmt":"2015-03-24T11:04:04","slug":"news-story-government-confirms-analogue-radio-licences-rollover","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=55708","title":{"rendered":"News story: Government confirms analogue radio licences rollover"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>Analogue radio licences for three national commercial networks and more than 60 local commercial radio stations are to be renewed for a further five years. <\/p>\n<p>The Department for Culture Media and Sport confirmed the extension, which will secure the future of these radio stations, including Classic FM, TalkSport and Absolute.<\/p>\n<p>Under current legislation, these stations would need to bid for their licences through a competitive process.
