Work will take place between Monday 13 April and Friday 15 May, 8pm to 6am.<\/p>\n<p>The A696 westbound carriageway will be closed between Kenton Bar Interchange and Newcastle Airport. A clearly signed diversion route will be in place via the B6918 Ponteland Road and drivers heading to the airport are advised to leave extra time for their journeys<\/p>\n<p>There will also be a lane closure on the A696 westbound carriageway between Newcastle Airport and Prestwick Roundabout.
