Anyone travelling through the area is however, advised to allow extra time for their journey, or to plan an alternative route or time as it is expected to be busier than normal.<\/p>\n<p>Nigel Allsopp, Highways England Events Planning Manager for the East of England, said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Although there won\u2019t be any road closures, we expect the M11 at junction 10 to be much busier than normal throughout the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>IWM Duxford air shows attracts a large number of visitors to IWM Duxford and we strongly advise road users in the area to plan ahead and allow extra journey time in case of any delays.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re also aware with the bank holiday and if the planned industrial action goes ahead the roads will be even busier than usual.<\/p>\n<p class=\"last-child\">During and immediately after the bank holiday we will be doing everything possible to manage traffic, such as removing temporary road works where practical. We\u2019ll have extra traffic officer patrols and recovery vehicles on standby, and we\u2019ll keep customers informed with real-time travel information online and via variable message signs.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Highways England provides live traffic information via its <a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.highways.gov.uk\/traffic\">website<\/a>, iPhone app, local radio travel bulletins and electronic road signs.
