{"id":57174,"date":"2015-05-22T12:11:39","date_gmt":"2015-05-22T12:11:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=af762d6150dc60abec8b0bc4f69179c0"},"modified":"2015-05-22T12:11:39","modified_gmt":"2015-05-22T12:11:39","slug":"news-story-fee-display-on-dbs-certificates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=57174","title":{"rendered":"News story: Fee display on DBS certificates"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>From 31 May 2015 all standard and enhanced DBS certificates will show if a fee has been charged by the DBS. <\/p>\n<p>DBS fees are: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a326 for a standard check<\/li>\n<li>\u00a344 for an enhanced check<\/li>\n<li>\u00a344 for an enhanced with barred list check<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Applicants don\u2019t pay a fee to us for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/dbs-check-requests-guidance-for-employers#volunteer-applications\">volunteer positions<\/a>; however these checks are processed in exactly the same way as those for a paid position. <\/p>\n<p>This change will let you see whether the DBS certificate was issued for a paid role or a volunteer role.<br \/>\nThe new text will show at the top left-hand side of the certificate stating either \u2018No DBS fee charged\u2019 or \u2018DBS fee charged\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"attachment inline\" id=\"attachment_1045324\"><br \/>\n  <a href=\"\/government\/uploads\/system\/uploads\/attachment_data\/file\/429400\/DBS_fee_charged.jpg\">DBS fee charged image<\/a><br \/>\n  (<span class=\"type\">JPEG<\/span>, <span class=\"file-size\">78.2KB<\/span>)<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"attachment inline\" id=\"attachment_1045325\"><br \/>\n  <a href=\"\/government\/uploads\/system\/uploads\/attachment_data\/file\/429402\/No_DBS_fee_charged.jpg\">No DBS fee charged image<\/a><br \/>\n  (<span class=\"type\">JPEG<\/span>, <span class=\"file-size\">66.2KB<\/span>)<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p>An administration fee may be charged by the organisation that submits your DBS check application to us.
