{"id":57288,"date":"2015-05-28T10:12:44","date_gmt":"2015-05-28T10:12:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=ec10ff686f92192498097ec43e201d25"},"modified":"2015-05-28T10:12:44","modified_gmt":"2015-05-28T10:12:44","slug":"news-story-cma-consults-on-gtcr-proposed-undertaking","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=57288","title":{"rendered":"News story: CMA consults on GTCR proposed undertaking"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>In April, the Competition and Markets Authority (<abbr title=\"Competition and Markets Authority\">CMA<\/abbr>) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/news\/cma-to-look-in-detail-at-proposed-undertakings-for-media-databases-merger\">announced it would consider in detail<\/a> an undertaking proposed by GTCR Canyon UK Investments Ltd (GTCR) instead of referring the case for an in-depth merger investigation.<\/p>\n<p>GTCR has offered to sell its Cision UK Limited and Vocus UK Limited businesses to a suitable upfront buyer able to remedy the competition concerns identified by the <abbr title=\"Competition and Markets Authority\">CMA<\/abbr>. GTCR has proposed Access Intelligence plc or Innodata Inc. as purchasers of these businesses.<\/p>\n<p>The <abbr title=\"Competition and Markets Authority\">CMA<\/abbr> proposes to accept the proposed undertaking, which it currently considers is appropriate to remedy its competition concerns.<\/p>\n<p>Before reaching a final decision, it is inviting interested parties to make their views known.
