Jane was instrumental in establishing specialist clinical care for people with <abbr title=\"Human immunodeficiency virus\">HIV<\/abbr> at both St Bartholomew\u2019s Hospital and Homerton Hospital in Hackney. For over 20 years, she has successfully worked with some of the most vulnerable and hard to reach patient populations in east London. Jane is also the immediate past chair of the British <abbr title=\"Human immunodeficiency virus\">HIV<\/abbr> Association.<\/p>\n<p>Jennifer, the Regional Consultant in Dental Public Health for the North of England and the national lead in oral health improvement at <abbr title=\"Public Health England\">PHE<\/abbr>, has been awarded an <abbr title=\"Officer of the Order of the British Empire\">OBE<\/abbr>. She is also the President Elect for the British Association for the Study of Community Dentistry, and the Patron of the National Oral Health Promotion Group. She has recently been leading work on the second edition of the \u2018Smokefree and smiling\u2019 guidance and the third edition of \u2018Delivering better oral health\u2019 as well as developing a commissioning guide for local authorities: Commissioning better oral health for children and young people.
