{"id":58088,"date":"2015-06-18T06:27:28","date_gmt":"2015-06-18T06:27:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=bc107fab40a61e2175bd628fea18866d"},"modified":"2015-06-18T06:27:28","modified_gmt":"2015-06-18T06:27:28","slug":"news-story-amendment-to-ecological-criteria-for-paints-and-varnishes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=58088","title":{"rendered":"News story: Amendment to ecological criteria for paints and varnishes"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>The European Commission has published <a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/EN\/TXT\/?uri=uriserv:OJ.L_.2015.144.01.0012.01.ENG\">Commission Decision 2015\/886<\/a> which amends <a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/EN\/TXT\/?uri=CELEX:32014D0312\">Commission Decision 2014\/312<\/a> regarding the ecological criteria which apply to both indoor and outdoor paints and varnishes to qualify to be awarded the EU eco-label.<\/p>\n<p>The Decision clarifies the limit values for the concentration of formaldehyde in these products as being set at 0.001 %.
