Rima will provide leadership to the <abbr title=\"National Travel Health Network and Centre\">NaTHNaC<\/abbr> Technical Advisory Group.<\/p>\n<p>Rima joins <abbr title=\"National Travel Health Network and Centre\">NaTHNaC<\/abbr> with a wealth of experience in healthcare and the pharmaceutical industry, having previously worked as non-executive director and Audit Chair at <abbr title=\"University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust\">UCLH<\/abbr>. Rima also holds a portfolio of non-executive positions and currently runs her own management consultancy business.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Rima Makarem, chair at <abbr title=\"National Travel Health Network and Centre\">NaTHNaC<\/abbr> said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"last-child\">I am honored to be taking on this role at such an exciting time. <abbr title=\"National Travel Health Network and Centre\">NaTHNaC<\/abbr>\u2019s strategic direction is now embedded and I am looking forward to working with the directors and the technical advisory group to ensure that we deliver <abbr title=\"National Travel Health Network and Centre\">NaTHNaC<\/abbr>\u2019s accelerated growth plan.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Professor Nick Phin, deputy director of <abbr title=\"Public Health England\">PHE<\/abbr>\u2019s National Infection Service said: <\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"last-child\">I am very pleased to welcome Rima, her expertise will be invaluable.
