Mr Liu Xiaoming, Chinese Ambassador to the UK and representatives from UK and Chinese companies.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"signing-of-memorandum-of-understanding-mou-and-contracts-between-uk-and-chinese-companies\">Signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and contracts between UK and Chinese companies<\/h2>\n<p>Sajid Javid met with Mr GUO Jinlong, Secretary of the Beijing Municipal Committee and Member of the Political Bureau. <\/p>\n<p>They witnessed the signing of 4 MOUs and contracts worth a total of \u00a330m including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>unveiling ceremony for <a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bluefocusgroup.com\/en\/\">Bluefocus<\/a> &#8211; Asia\u2019s largest marketing agency who have a 83% majority equity stake in UK-based PR Agency <a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/wearesocial.net\/\">\u2018We Are Social\u2019<\/a> worth \u00a321.5m<\/li>\n<li>a new design and build contract worth \u00a37.5m for <a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bcegi.com\/en\/\">BCEGI Construction (UK) Ltd<\/a> to build a new logistics facility called ALPHA at<a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.airportcity.co.uk\/products\/global-logistics\/\"> Airport City Manchester\u2019s Global Logistics Site<\/a>\n<\/li>\n<li>memorandum of understanding between <a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.foton-global.com\/\">Beiqi Foton Motor Co. Ltd<\/a> and <a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ricardo.com\/\">Ricardo UK Ltd<\/a> on strategic cooperation in powertrain products development<\/li>\n<li>a service contract between <a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bcegi.com\/en\/\">Beiqi Foton Motor Co. Ltd<\/a> and <a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ricardo.com\/en-GB\/Who-we-are\/Contact-us\/Ricardo-China\/\">Ricardo Shanghai Co.
