{"id":58361,"date":"2015-06-25T08:25:15","date_gmt":"2015-06-25T08:25:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=070b4e7e68a5f9badf14b600488f59be"},"modified":"2015-06-25T08:25:15","modified_gmt":"2015-06-25T08:25:15","slug":"news-story-heat-network-innovation-competition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=58361","title":{"rendered":"News story: Heat network innovation competition"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>Nine innovative heat network projects are being tested across the UK as part of DECC\u2019s Heat Network Small Business Research Initiative competition.     <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/news\/7m-boost-to-heat-industry-innovation\">DECC announced winning bidders earlier this year<\/a> and now the successful projects will start testing their technology with the aim of improving the performance of heat networks and encouraging the use of renewable heat sources. <\/p>\n<p>The projects, which include the using smart systems to diagnose performance issues and heat recovered from data centres and canals, will receive a share of \u00a36 million as part of the total \u00a37 million prize pool.
