The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 31 July 2015 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.<\/p>\n

A38 Barton-under-Needwood to Hilliard\u2019s Cross: carriageway resurfacing<\/h2>\n

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 9pm and 6am from 3 August until 9 August. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A46 Binley Woods to Tollbar: improvement scheme<\/h2>\n

The southbound carriageway from Binley Woods roundabout to Tollbar roundabout will be closed overnight from 8pm to 6am from Monday 3 August to Sunday 16 August. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A5 \u2013 M54 junction 7 to Preston Boats (A5\/A49) island: carriageway resurfacing<\/h2>\n

The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 3 August until 9 August. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A5 Montford Bridge to Churncote: carriageway resurfacing<\/h2>\n

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 3 August until 7 August. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A5 Churncote to Woodcote roundabout: carriageway resurfacing<\/h2>\n

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 7 August until 9 August. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A5 Marlborough Way to Mile Oak: carriageway resurfacing<\/h2>\n

The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 3 August until 9 August. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A5 Pennine Way (B5080) to Marlborough Way: carriageway resurfacing<\/h2>\n

The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 3 August until 7 August. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A500 Etruria exit slip: street lighting works<\/h2>\n

The southbound exit slip road will be closed for one night from 8pm on 3 August until 6am the following morning (4 August). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A500 Shelton New Road: street lighting column repair<\/h2>\n

The southbound entry slip will be closed for one night from 8pm on 4 August until 6am the following morning (5 August). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A500 City Road entry slip: street lighting column repair<\/h2>\n

The southbound entry slip road will be closed for one night from 8pm on 5 August until 6am the following morning (6 August). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A500 Hanford exit slip: street lighting column repair<\/h2>\n

The northbound exit slip will be closed for one night from 8pm on 6 August until 6am the following morning (7 August). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

The northbound entry slip will be closed for one night from 8pm on 7 August until 6am the following morning (8 August). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M42 junction 3 to junction 2, West Midlands: carriageway resurfacing<\/h2>\n

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 10pm and 6am from 3 August to 9 August. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M5 junction 7, West Midlands: traffic signal installation<\/h2>\n

The northbound and southbound exit slip roads will be closed overnight between 10pm and 6am from 3 August to 9 August. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M54 junction 5 to junction 3 (Forge Interchange), West Midlands: carriageway works<\/h2>\n

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 3 August to 9 August. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M54 junction 3 to junction 5 (Forge Interchange), West Midlands: carriageway works<\/h2>\n

The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 3 August to 9 August. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M54 junction 1 to junction 7, West Midlands: vegetation clearance<\/h2>\n

The entry and exit slip roads will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 3 August to 9 August. Please note, only one junction (including slips) will be closed at any one time\/night. This will be confirmed pending coordination with other works. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M54 junction 4 to junction 3, West Midlands: carriageway works<\/h2>\n

The eastbound carriageway including the entry slip road will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 3 August to 7 August. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M54 junction 7 to junction 6, West Midlands: carriageway resurfacing<\/h2>\n

The eastbound carriageway including the entry slip road will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 6 August to 9 August. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M6 junction 6 Gravelly Hill Interchange, West Midlands: rewaterproofing & structural repairs<\/h2>\n

There will be a full 24-hour eastbound link road closure from 3 August ongoing until 6am on 9 August. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M6 junction 9 entry slip\/Western Arm South, West Midlands: rewaterproofing & structural repairs<\/h2>\n

There will be a full 24-hour southbound entry slip road closure from 3 August ongoing until 6am on 9 August. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M6 junction 12 to junction 10a, West Midlands: technology works<\/h2>\n

The southbound carriageway will be closed for one night from 10pm on 3 August until 6am the following morning (4 August). A diversion route will be clearly signposted<\/p>\n

M6 junction 10a to junction 12, West Midlands: signal investigation<\/h2>\n

The southbound carriageway, including the junction 11 entry slip road, will be closed for one night from 10pm on 4 August until 6am the following morning (5 August). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M6 junction 12 entry slip, West Midlands: drainage works<\/h2>\n

The southbound entry slip road will be closed for one night from 10pm on 4 August until 6am the following morning (5 August). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

The northbound entry slip road will be closed for one night from 10pm on 5 August until 6am the following morning (6 August). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

The southbound entry and exit slip roads will be closed for one night from 10pm on 7 August until 8am the following morning (8 August). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n
