{"id":59878,"date":"2015-07-31T20:44:50","date_gmt":"2015-07-31T20:44:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=2e8bc82f61fb3dabfd2b6f90436ba721"},"modified":"2015-07-31T20:44:50","modified_gmt":"2015-07-31T20:44:50","slug":"press-release-pm-call-with-president-hollande-on-calais-statement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=59878","title":{"rendered":"Press release: PM call with President Hollande on Calais: statement"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>A Number 10 spokesperson said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The Prime Minister called President Hollande this evening to discuss the situation in Calais, particularly around the Eurotunnel entrance at Coquelles.<\/p>\n<p>They both expressed concern about the immediate security challenges and reiterated their commitment to continue working closely together to tackle the problems posed by illegal migration.<\/p>\n<p class=\"last-child\">The Prime Minister updated the President on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/news\/calais-cobr-meeting-31-july-2015-statement\">actions he had set in train earlier today following the meeting of <abbr title=\"the government\u2019s emergency committee\">COBR<\/abbr><\/a> and thanked the President for the work the French authorities were also undertaking.
