Throughout the campaign, more than 950,000 people called <abbr title=\"HM Revenue and Customs\">HMRC<\/abbr>\u2019s tax credits hotline to renew, while more than one million renewed by post.<\/p>\n<p>The online renewals service, which was developed in <abbr title=\"HM Revenue and Customs\">HMRC<\/abbr>\u2019s high-tech Digital Delivery Centres, has been welcomed by users, with customer satisfaction rates for the service reaching 90 per cent. <\/p>\n<p>Nick Lodge, <abbr title=\"HM Revenue and Customs\">HMRC<\/abbr>\u2019s Director General, Benefits and Credits, said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>It\u2019s great to see so many more people renewing online this year \u2013 and giving the service the thumbs-up.<\/p>\n<p class=\"last-child\">It\u2019s really important that people renew by the deadline to ensure their payments don\u2019t stop.
