{"id":60118,"date":"2015-08-06T15:45:00","date_gmt":"2015-08-06T15:45:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=24069e74c50fdc4e3028cb65a5fbbbe2"},"modified":"2015-08-07T10:37:05","modified_gmt":"2015-08-07T10:37:05","slug":"news-story-digital-services-2-is-now-live-on-the-digital-marketplace","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=60118","title":{"rendered":"News story: Digital Services 2 is now live on the Digital Marketplace"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Updated:<\/em> Links to the CCS web page and buyers&#8217; guide have been added.<\/p>\n<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>The Digital Services 2 agreement is now live on the <a rel=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.digitalmarketplace.service.gov.uk\/\">Digital Marketplace<\/a> helping support the delivery of the Government Digital Strategy by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>giving customers easy access to 167 suppliers with the right capabilities, who comply with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/service-manual\/digital-by-default\">Digital by Default Standard<\/a> and align with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/service-manual\">Government Service Design Manual<\/a>\n<\/li>\n<li>providing a large, diverse pool of capable digital specialist suppliers, 77% of which are small and medium sized businesses<\/li>\n<li>ensuring supplier capacity to deliver digital projects at multiple UK locations<\/li>\n<li>providing a flexible and speedy route to meet customers\u2019 digital project commissioning requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>New features of Digital Services 2 include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>6 new digital roles making a total of 18 <\/li>\n<li>digital capabilities have been consolidated from 8 to 7<\/li>\n<li>additional experience levels: junior, intermediate and senior<\/li>\n<li>ability to specifically request technical specialist for niche technologies<\/li>\n<li>potential for developers to work remotely (where an on-site developer is in place)<\/li>\n<li>improved further competition process including test or demonstration and scrutiny process<\/li>\n<li>improved warranty provision <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 id=\"managed-service\">Managed service<\/h3>\n<p>For central government departments and their arm\u2019s length bodies and non-departmental bodies a managed procurement service is also available. Using our commercial expertise and experience we have so far managed over 200 digital procurements savings customers \u00a36.4 million.
