The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of the above date but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.<\/p>\n

Bristol<\/h2>\n

M5 junction 16 \u2013 17: maintenance<\/h3>\n

Full southbound closure including Junction 16 entry slips, nightly from 9pm Monday 10 August until 6am Thursday 13 August. A diversion will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M4 junction 20 \u2013 19: maintenance<\/h3>\n

From 9pm on Thursday 13 August until 6am the following morning, there will be a full eastbound closure between junction 20 and junction 19, including full link closures of the M5 southbound link to the M4 eastbound, M5 southbound link to M4 westbound, and M5 northbound link to the M4 eastbound link. Diversions will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M4 junction 19: maintenance<\/h3>\n

The eastbound entry slip and westbound entry slip will be closed from 9pm Friday 14 August until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M48 junction 1- 0: resurfacing<\/h3>\n

Full eastbound closure will take place nightly from 8pm Monday 10 August until 6am Thursday 20 August. Diversion will be clearly signposted (Mon to Fri only).<\/p>\n

M5 junction 18A: barrier works<\/h3>\n

There will be a southbound entry slip closure nightly from 10pm Monday 3 August until 6am Wednesday 19 August (Monday to Friday only). Diversion will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

Gloucestershire<\/h2>\n

M5 junction 10: bridge repairs<\/h3>\n

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place on the southbound and northbound carriageway until October 2015.<\/p>\n

A40 Walham Viaduct: structure improvements<\/h3>\n

Traffic tidal flows in operation. Traffic will be closed for westbound traffic from midnight until 12 noon. Traffic will be closed for eastbound traffic from 12 noon until midnight until late August 2015.<\/p>\n

A40 Walham (between Over roundabout and Longford roundabout): resurfacing<\/h3>\n

Full eastbound and westbound closure in operation nightly from 8pm Monday 10 August until 6am Tuesday 18 August. A diversion will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

Please note: from 6am each morning, this will revert back to the above arrangements with the westbound closed until 12 noon.<\/p>\n

Wiltshire<\/h2>\n

North Somerset<\/h2>\n

Somerset<\/h2>\n

BANES<\/h2>\n

West Dorset<\/h2>\n

Devon (M5 only)<\/h2>\n

M5 junction 28: improvements scheme<\/h3>\n

There will be various closures on the southbound exit slip road until August 2015.<\/p>\n

Hampshire<\/h2>\n

No planned work.<\/p>\n
