{"id":60173,"date":"2015-08-08T23:15:33","date_gmt":"2015-08-08T23:15:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=e4cbcba682c20b9919530a90e96b4e07"},"modified":"2015-08-08T23:15:33","modified_gmt":"2015-08-08T23:15:33","slug":"press-release-foreign-secretary-in-singapore-for-golden-jubilee-celebrations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=60173","title":{"rendered":"Press release: Foreign Secretary in Singapore for Golden Jubilee celebrations"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond will today represent the UK at celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of Singaporean statehood.<\/p>\n<p>During his visit on the country\u2019s 50th National Day, Mr Hammond will underline the close friendship between the UK and Singapore, and recognise the crucial role of Singapore founding father Lee Kuan Yew who passed away earlier this year.<\/p>\n<p>The Foreign Secretary said: <\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"last-child\">Britain and Singapore have a relationship and history that is as close today as it was 50 years ago.
